After successful completion of the course, learners will be able to:

  • Demonstrate fundamental knowledge of computer systems, hardware components, memory, storage devices, input devices, and output devices.
  • Explain fundamental concepts of programming languages, software, operating systems, compilers, interpreters, and open-source software.
  • Apply word-processing tools to create, edit, format, organize, and produce professional documents for academic and workplace requirements.
  • Apply spreadsheet tools to enter, organize, calculate, analyse, filter, summarize, and visualize data using formulas, functions, Pivot Tables, and charts.
  • Design and deliver effective presentations using slides, layouts, multimedia, tables, charts, transitions, animations, master slides, and presenter tools.
  • Demonstrate practical proficiency in commonly used office productivity software for academic, administrative, professional, and personal tasks.
  • Select and apply appropriate computer applications and tools to solve routine problems and improve productivity.
  • Demonstrate digital competence through effective use of document processing, spreadsheet analysis, data visualization, and presentation technologies.
  • Apply appropriate formatting, organization, and communication techniques to produce clear, accurate, and professional digital content.
